London Waterloo is Britain’s biggest and busiest station.
This huge railway terminal, which dates back to the 1840s, is perched upon a network of arches, forming a vast, secret labyrinth.
Although completely closed off to the public, I was lucky enough to be granted access to this mysterious area beneath Waterloo in the autumn of 2019, and in this video I’ll be showing you what I encountered!
This tour was conducted as research for my book; ‘Waterloo Station: A History of London’s Busiest Terminus‘ which is published by The Crowood Press.
Good luck with the book, Rob. I enjoyed the video too.
Cheers, Pete.
Many thanks Pete, hope you’re keeping well.
