London Tube1959 Stock Mug
Description
The 1959 Tube Stock was one of the most iconic designs to run on the London Underground.
Built by Metro-Cammell, Birmingham, these trains first entered service in 1959 and remained on the network until 2000.
During those decades, the 1959 Stock operated on the Northern, Bakerloo, Central and Piccadilly lines; all of which are identified on this mug.
The 1959 Stock was also the last train on the London Underground to have a guard; the last journey taking place on 27 January 2000.
Whether you’re drinking your morning coffee, evening tea, or something in between – this mug’s for you! It’s sturdy and glossy with a vivid print that’ll withstand the microwave and dishwasher.
