London Tube A Stock Mug

Description

Introduced in the early 1960s, the London tube A stock trains were in service for just over fifty years. With their high-backed seats and luggage racks they were primarily designed for use on the Metropolitan line and were once the fastest trains on the network. For a time they also operated on the former East London line (which has since been taken over by the Overground).

This mug lists the Metropolitan Line and East London Line alongside a vivid print of my hand drawn image of the classic London tube A stock carriage.
