London Mugs: Trellick Tower
Description
A unique, hand drawn image of one of my favourite London buildings – Trellick Tower.
Opened in 1972, the Trellick Tower was designed by the Hungarian architect, Erno Goldfinger- a notoriously grouchy character who inspired Ian Fleming to create the infamous Bond villain of the same name. In the early 1980s the pirate radio station ‘Dread Broadcasting Corporation’ (DBC), which championed music of Black origin, was broadcast from the tower, which continues to impose itself on the west London skyline today.
For your morning coffee, evening tea, or something in between – this mug is sturdy and glossy with a vivid print of my own unique drawing.
